1. Today, co-chair of the Syrian Democratic Counsel Ilham Ahmed described SDC position regarding Syrian constitution and reconciliation. She described a system not unlike the US federal system.
2. They have more gender equality than we do. But on local police power they are just like USA. Local governance. They allow local customs to guide conflict resolution. But key is no regime in control. Like we have NY cops in NY and FL cops in FL. You don't have NY cops in FL.
