Forgotten fact: Leavers first mentioned Canada as a potential model in...... 2016.
Before that it was all EFTA with lashings of EEA.
Who was the genius, the great thinker of our age who promoted Canada from the beginning?

Step forward David Campbell Bannerman.
He quickly persuaded David Davis of its merits... and it all went from there. That's despite Bannerman* also variously promoting "EEA-Lite", "WTO+", "SuperCanada" (Canada+ would've sounded hackneyed) and Article 24.
* Do we have any actual proof that they are related in anything but a very tenuous way?

Always been a fan of referendums for lots of policy issues [maybe comes from my Swiss DNA] but I'm now seriously questioning whether UK should go any further with them beyond the occasional one.

We simply don't have the political culture for them.
Does this mean I'm withdrawing support for a second referendum? No.

But I understand why some don't want to go there and why some half-arsed GE- substitute may seem a better alternative.

I confess I'm clueless as to how someone can be so clueless about this.

Here's a clue: the manner in which the vote was won and has subsequently been implemented (i.e. cluelessly).
This is however one of the best exhibits of how one side cannot even see the other side, never mind understand it.

What usually then happens is they assume the other side must have nefarious motives. Works for Remainers too ("disaster capitalism", Russia, bots etc - see Carole)

If your flight is delayed at departure, you have the right to assistance, to reimbursement and a return flight, depending on the duration of the delay and the distance of the flight....
If you arrived at your final destination with a delay of more than 3 hours, you are entitled to compensation of up to €600, unless the delay was due to extraordinary circumstances.

Damn EU forcing these rights on UK consumers against their will.
If you are upgraded, the airline can't request any additional payment.

If you are downgraded, you are entitled to reimbursement of a percentage of the price of your ticket, depending on the flight distance as follows:
