I wrote two books, PROOF OF COLLUSION and PROOF OF CONSPIRACY, that establish diGenova, Toensing and Harvey as dirty crooks, and thank god because that's exactly what they are, and the first two are Trump legal advisers who we just learned tonight plotted with Parnas and Giuliani
1/ The chance is zero, repeat zero, that diGenova and Toensing, who are ride-or-die crooks, weren't keeping Trump informed about their meetings with Parnas, Giuliani, and Nunes's rep Harvey at Trump International. Trump has been part of this plot to shake down Ukraine since 2017.
2/ And given all these secret meetings at the Trump International Hotel in 2018 and 2019, this is *really* starting to look like a conspiracy to commit bribery with the following federal co-defendants on offer:

3/ Giuliani was perfectly capable of keeping Trump directly informed of what was happening at the BLT Restaurant, but I'm more interested in how diGenova and Toensing pretended not to join Trump's legal team and then diGenova couldn't help himself and said they were advising him
4/ diGenova and Giuliani worked together to facilitate illegal leaks from rogue FBI agents in October '16, and it was *those leaks* that gave Trump the election; I jumped up and down about it, as did others, IG Horowitz did nothing, and now (predictably) here we are and I'm angry
5/ The same people we inexplicably let off the hook four years ago are doing *exactly* what you'd expect career criminals to do, and continued criming exactly as they had been before. When are we going to learn that when you don't enforce the law, it gets systematically violated?
6/ I'll keep saying what I wrote in NEWSWEEK right after the Ukraine scandal broke, which is that it's bigger than people realize, involves more people than people realize, goes back further than people realize and will keep getting bigger. How's that informed prediction looking?
7/ I'll be honest and say that I get seriously angry each time I see the names Joe diGenova and Victoria Toensing, because many of us attorneys pegged them as crooked embarrassments to our profession years ago and media should have been on them like stink on a toilet and were not
8/ Trump has a very simple plan that he has announced publicly in repeated rants about wanting a "Roy Cohn": he chooses crooked lawyers to represent him and commit crimes for him, with the expectation that attorney-client privilege will protect the conspiracy from being uncovered
9/ And then, because the lawyers are well-known and well-connected in powerful circles, media seems to be unwilling to say anything about what's obvious to any non-DC lawyer until the last moment, with the result that someone like Trump keeps committing crimes without impediment.
10/ We're just a year from the same three lawyers stealing two consecutive presidential elections right under our noses, yet the number of documentaries on how Giuliani, diGenova, and Toensing have done it looks to be zero, and you have to go on Twitter to see it discussed at all
