He was immediately called out by Chalupa’s sister for spreading insidious disinformation without a fact-check, to which he responded by his own riff on the conspiracy spread by Russian information services and Trump defenders and by pretending he’s gaming for the “red team”:

Chalupa has been again thrust into spotlight of impeachment hearings by Devin Nunes, who repeatedly mentioned her by name during his conspiratorial diatribes:

When the CNN refutation was pointed out to him, Abramson tripled down and falsely claimed it confirmed what he said.
Abramson claimed his aim was to prepare us all against Trump’s defense, by airing it and refuting it before it’ll be used in Senate. Impeachment hearings have shown it will be likely based on Kremlin’s disinformation.
When he skips the first three conspiracy theories because they were sufficiently refuted already:

Abramson’s conduct here is highly irresponsible. If he claims to be a journalist, he should heed the advice from the excellent @RobertMackey:

Abramson did quote the source of the disinformation. Then he refused to stop using the smear when asked directly by its victim. He shamelessly continued to aggrandize himself by offering his own “original analysis” of the case.
When @SethAbramson gets rightfully tarred and feathered for this irresponsible grift of his, he’ll undoubtedly claim a deep misunderstanding.
