PolyU issued another statement at 4pm, reiterating its plea that police end their siege of campus & not enter. Police threaten that if uni doesn’t cooperate, they will get a court warrant & enter regardless of uni’s wishes. polyu.edu.hk/web/en/media/m…

Livefeed: Police began to enter PolyU campus about one hour ago.
Firefighters entered PolyU campus at about 08.15 to search for hazardous materials. They were aided by PolyU management which has said that it is not participating in the police search of campus.
A police explosives disposal team entered the PolyU campus at about 08.45 to search for evidence.
In addition to the police explosives team, a large number of plainclothes police officers have entered the PolyU campus.
