1. We need to rethink the way we staff our military. Using state @NationalGuard forces as a rotational standing army is not sustainable from a readiness or social perspectives. If your reserves are always deployed, you're at war and need to re-start the draft.
2. One year commitment after high school either by graduating or dropping out. Then free school during a four year reserve commitment. No CO/Phys or other deferment. Everyone can do a job.
