Leadership @AndyMcDonaldMP 'We can cut up to 1/3 of carbon emissions from 🚙 journeys if we had the same quality of segregated 🚲 infrastructure & 🚲 culture as the Dutch, & simultaneously we would cut the obesity & diabetes crisis that is threatening to overwhelm the NHS.'
Labour’s ‘Healthy Streets’ programme will be modelled on the best towns in Denmark, Germany & the Netherlands. The £50 per person commitment up from the present £7 per person & represents ~10% of the UK transport budget.
Supporting the electric bike revolution:
