Democrat #Pennsylvania Representative Movita Johnson-Harrell was charged in PA for stealing more than $500 MILLION from a non-profit that she ran & using the money for herself.

She stole the money from Motivation, Education & Consultation Associates (MECA), which is her own non-profit that she started back in 2006.

Looks like she diverted Medicaid and social security disability funds from MECA & bought trips, clothing, & made payments on her Porsche.
Interesting acronym for her "charity" - MECA
It appears she ran some sort of residential facilities, some of which were closed after it was discovered that residents were living in squalor.

Must be nice. Run charity to allegedly help people, steal the money to buy homes, Porsche, etc, and let residents live in squalor.

German prosecutors in Frankfort are making #DeutscheBank pay a $16.5 million fine for lax money laundering controls, but dropped a tax evasion criminal investigation against them.

It was an investigation stemming from a raid on the bank in Nov 2018 and was centered on a Deutsche bank in the British Virgin Islands.
More specifically, it focused on Deutsche subsidiary "Regula" which was in the #PanamaPapers. There probably was money laundering involved, but prosecutors claimed there wasn't enough evidence Deutsche Bank execs.

Just like #BigPharma did, Hospital groups are now suing the Trump admin to block his new rule requiring hospitals to disclose prices of their procedures.

I don't how it would "confuse" patients any more than they & Insurers already confuse patients w/ EOBs and whatnot.
One of the groups that's suing the Trump admin is the AHA (American Hospital Association).
