I'm shocked, shocked that the people who pretend to care so much about Jewish people when it's time to accuse Corbyn of antisemitism don't give a damn about it when it's published in their own paper.
it's actually frightening to think of how comfortable people are with this stuff unless it happens to benefit them politically to squawk about it and blame the Left.

@BarnabyRaine Everything they accuse Corbyn of is designed to make him seem outside, Other, external, un-English. Claim Russia leaked the NHS papers; accuse him of "betrayal" over Brexit; link him to "terrorists"; it's all so depressingly familiar.
@BarnabyRaine I've been in Britain for a chunk of the last year; I've attended Labour events in Scotland and Cornwall and Uxbridge and Chingford, joined groups of canvassers in Bristol and Moreley and three London marginals. I reported on Labour's conference. I was Jewish the whole time.
@BarnabyRaine I'm sure that people have faced actual antisemitism within the Labour party, but if it was endemic as the papers say, if Corbyn was really the world's biggest antisemite or whatever, surely SOMEONE would have said something to me or around me in all that time?
@BarnabyRaine so all the handwringing about Corbyn's antisemitism doesn't feel like concern to me, as a Jewish person--it feels like another flavor of contempt.
