Every criticism of the executive order on antisemitism is based on its supposed potential to suppress free speech.

The ACTUAL TEXT says EXPLICITLY that it does not infringe on ANY rights granted by the First Amendment, including free speech.

So why are so many freaking out?
1/
Title Vi protects students (and others who receive gov't funds) from discrimination. Only when speech becomes harassment does that become an issue.

The critics of the EO are saying that Jewish and Zionist students should have NO PROTECTION from harassment at school.

Really. 2/
Everything else is smoke and mirrors. The bar for discrimination is not that low under Title VI, and it is not being raised by this.

And if schools respond by protecting Jews/Zionists from harassment and discrimination, WHY IS THAT A BAD THING?
