I talk to young Nigerians very often, Nigerians in the 18-30 bracket.
I engage them in everything: academics, career, religion, discipline, manners, etiquette, politics, relationships, etc.

There's one thing is CONSTANT among them all:
THEY ARE ANGRY!
And very BITTER too...
Now, why are they so ANGRY & BITTER?
The answer is interesting: they are angry at how Nigeria is run, how those in government seem to be out to frustrate them with their policies.
They somehow believe we have wicked people in government who simply steal "awa oyel money"...
They are ANGRY at my generation, they blame us for the state of the Country today.
"Uncle Harry, your generation enjoyed Nigeria! You had FREE education & FREE healthcare! You had FREE lunch in school, you had FREE books, you had FREE..."

Ah!
I got it!
The constant word:
FREE!

Chief Ernest Shonekan: The end of a democracy traitor.

When I learned of the death of Chief Ernest Shonekan today at the age of 85. I could not hold my anger at the reporting (including at Sahara Reporters) that claimed he was a “Nigerian leader.”

#RevolutionNow Image
Truth is that Chief Shonekan wasn’t a leader, he was a traitor who betrayed Chief Moshood Kashimawo Abiola and a betrayer of Nigeria’s quest for genuine democracy before and during the June 12 1993 era.
Also, Chief Shonekan wasn’t an “Interim Leader” as reported in many news outlets, the illegal contraption he headed known as the “Interim National Government” which was put together by an equally evil traitor, General Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida was appropriately nullified by a

A thread about drug smuggling, the British Empire, and the ways in which historical wrongdoing by the Establishment persists into the present day. 🧐🧵🌳🍃🍂⛓ #EstablishmentPsychopathy #history #ToriesOut #OpiumWar #ColonialViolence
It’s generally well known that the Opium Wars of the mid nineteenth century were launched by Britain against China in order to benefit British drug smugglers… 🤨🇬🇧🇨🇳 #OpiumWars #BritishEmpire #ColonialViolence #China
After all, even the National Army Museum – not typically regarded as a bastion of anti-Establishment lefties – states this frankly in its displays on the Opium Wars. #BritishEmpire #ColonialViolence #China

WATCH THIS VIDEO! This is the Nigeria most people want out of, a country where some are superior to others with regards to their ethnicity, their religious-sect, tribal affiliation or bloodline or the region of the country they come from but here you are they are raiding the
the home of Sunday Igboho, killing his people, kidnapping @MaziNnamdiKanu while their favourite bandits merchants are feted. The lawless DSS displayed weapons seized from Igboho’s home and as for Kanu the only weapon found on him according to Lai was a tracksuit made by “FENDI.”
They keep fucking with your minds, distracting you so that you won’t UNITE and fight the only cause that would LIBERATE all and whether we like it or not, #REVOLUTION is the answer! You don’t need to commit any crimes for TYRANNY to considers you a CRIMINAL!

Very interesting argument being made by @breketeConnect on his radio station in Abuja this morning.

Let me see if I can do a small thread that summarises his arguments...
He says that @BBCAfrica's thing on him is an attack on the masses. That the Beeb has no credibility and northern #Nigeria is being fooled because of the Hausa radio they have provided (BBC Hausa to the uninitiated).
So he makes the rather interesting point that a station that tore the #British monarchy apart, made a prince leave with his wife, and so has zero credibility in London should not be the one to talk, but northern #Nigeria is allowing itself to be deceived.

My Crazy Thoughts On #Lekki

When the #EndSARS protests began, no one mentioned President @MBuhari

(Thread)
But, just like aides of Governor @senatorbenayade often find a way to make others opinions seem like direct attacks on their principal, apologists and handlers of the @NGRPresident did same.
Minister Lai Mohammed succeeded in selling the narrative to the press that protests were hijacked and it was bought hook, line and sinker! What a spin! That was to justify what will happen next especially as the seemingly facelessness of the protests made negotiations difficult!

With the greatest of respect sir, you have shown an unprecedented, unpardonable and irredeemable level of ignorance and naivety on leaderless protests. Learned Doctor, if you had done little research, you would have seen that leaderless protest is an emerging political concept.
Dear @DCOmole,

For many of the protests taking place around the world, the lack of an appointed leader is deliberate.

Sir, around the world, leaderless protest movements have emerged, drawing tens of thousands (and, in some cases, millions) of people to the streets.
Dear @DrCOmole,

Though their catalysts vary, leaderless protests have largely looked the same: From Hong Kong and Chile to Iraq and Lebanon, people have utilized social media and the streets to whip up spontaneous, mostly nonviolent grassroots

A fake Mc Macaroni handle posted the attack on #EndSARS protesters in Abuja and gave it an ethnic coloration by labelling it Hausa Fulani attack.

1. After all the protest, I will appriciate if top reasonable celebrities can hold an intellectual symposium on:
1.What defines police brutality?

2. What are the main causes of police brutality

3. What is the most effective way to stop police brutality?
2.
4. Suggest reforms steps to be taken by @nassnigeria for a better @PoliceNG .

5. Create a group that will interface with the @nassnigeria and lobby to ensure the @PoliceNG reform Act is speedily worked on and handed over to Mr President for assent .

I am saying the above,
3. Because after all this shout and everybody goes back without any concrete achievements won't make any sense.
Citizens should bear in mind that not all @PoliceNG are bad eggs ,hence we shouldn't throwaway the baby with the bath water.
Jobbers like @YeleSowore shouldn't hijack

No one should be afraid of arrest during peaceful protests. I've been involved in many of such cases in the past. The police has never defeated us in court. Their usual bogus charges are meaningless to me. The courts have always resisted attempts to criminalize peaceful protests.
Section 39 and 40 of the Constitution guarantees freedom of expression, association and peaceful assembly. By virtue of Section 94(4) of the Electoral Act (as amended in 2015), the role of the police during political rallies and procession is limited to provision of security.
The court has ruled that the #RevolutionNow protest is legal and lawful. Even where the police concocts non-existent intelligence report that "hoodlums will hijack the protest", they are not empowered to stop the protest. They are only to be there to protect the protesters.

Provisions in the new Police Act that empowers officers to arrest without a court order or warrant based on a "reasonable suspicion" and under other circumstances is not new. The problem as I see it, is more about attitude than law. The issue is lack of discipline in the policep
It will be untenable to expect the police to obtain a warrant in all cases before effecting arrests. If police officers on routine operations encounter a group of people with assault rifles in the night, should the officers seek a warrant before interrogating and arresting them?
If the police runs into a gang of robbers, should they first obtain a warrant before taking them into custody? If there is a riot, should warrant be obtained before the rioters can be arrested? I can give more examples. In this country, bail is supposed to be free, but it is not.

The BUHARI EMPIRE!!

1. I am damn sure Buhari is aware the West is fiercely opposed to the very idea of a 3rd, & Nigerians won’t support the idea either. But being the strong dictator he is, he sought to gain control of ‘free speech’ & the senate,
2. and end the chaos of legislative civil war with the 8th senate.

He cleverly gave back his extraordinary powers to the Lawan 9th senate, an obvious deception to prove he has complete respect towards democratic institutions & of his “cryptic love” for the sacrosanct ‘Libertas.’
3. The bet was won, the 9th senate now singing Buhari’s name the ‘savior’, like the man Nigerians revered prior to 2015, they beg him to keep on serving the Federal republic of Nigeria & they could even offer him a ‘3rd term Imperial.’

HOW TO END ENDLESS KILLINGS OF IGBO YOUTHS BY NORTHERN-ISLAMIC DOMINATED SECURITY AGENCIES IN ALA IGBO

72 hours after rogue personnels of @PoliceNG, @HQNigerianArmy & DSS invaded the peaceful prayer session/meeting of Igbo youths in Emene, Enugu, no reaction from Igbo leaders? Image

3/ I've critically chronicled the history of Ndigbo since the amalgamation of Northern & Southern Protectorates by Britain in 1914, Ala Igbo has never had these army of cowards parading themselves as 'leaders.'

I stand to be corrected! Image

1. Tonight, I am angry, & I am going to talk about random stuffs, happenings in Nigeria. So sip your coffee/tea & read on.

The Nigeria government has tried to introduce the “Hate speech law,” which is the Marxist edition of “Sharia blasphemy laws” practiced in northern Nigeria.
2. Both the Marxist & Sharia laws are in direct conflict with Western cultures & practices.

Both “thoughts” are in principle, set in perpetual war with the more modest Judeo-Christian religion, practiced in Western countries, & in the southern part of Nigeria.
3. You will have to understand the concept of “social sciences & social engineering,” of a much primitive society like northern Nigeria, to understand what the very destructive “Sharia law” seeks to achieve.

HOW SOWORE CAN GALVANIZE NIGERIAN YOUTHS NOW

Four days after the @YeleSowore-led #RevolutionNow Movement embarked on a protest across parts of Nigeria, some of the participants arrested by @PoliceNG and the DSS, are still illegally incarcerated at various detention facilities. ImageImageImageImage
2/ Illegally incarcerating the hapless and aggrieved Nigerian youths who embarked on the #August5thProtest, beyond 24-48 hours, runs afoul of Section 35 of Nigeria's 1999 Constitution, which guarantees Right to Personal Liberty.
3/ Section 35 (5) provides that an accused person who has been arrested on the allegation of having committed an offence must be charged to court within 24 hours where a court of competent jurisdiction is located within a radius of forty kilometers from the police station.

The stench of failure that encircles this administration will not allow them perceive the aroma of Change. NIGERIANs are no longer ignorant & primitive cum unconstitutional clampdowns like this is exactly why more people will take to the street. Freedom of Speech & Association.
It is well within our rights to express our discontent peacefully. It is constitutionally permitted to associate with others on common ground issues in order to move Our country forward. Unconstitutional clampdowns only show who the true enemies of our Republic are.
The Revolution is already in motion as it begins in the Hearts and Minds of the people. The tyrannical approach of Government help facilitate this more with the unconstitutional arrest of unarmed citizens expressing their discontents peacefully. We can engage better.
