Why is @FeminismInIndia a sham ?

1) I was raised by a #feminist father. He went out of his way to make sure I get the best education possible even though we are refugees in our own country. Yes, I am a victim of #terrorism in #Kashmir.

2) I was never treated differently than my brother. You know why ? Because we are #Kashmirihindus and we treat everyone equally.
3) I presided over yagnas because I was the eldest child of the family. My gender had no bearing on that.

It was when I was in 100 level first semester in the university, I can’t recollect how Abeti began to ask me out but he went all out. One day, I was alone at home, my two roomies, Lola and Tolu had travelled to Lagos.
As a 100L student that was being actively courted by a 400-level student, I kinda felt special. Plus, Abeti had a car. If you ever studied at Olabisi Onabanjo University, you’d understand the importance of knowing at least one person who drove a car in school.

The hielera is a large room w/frigid temperatures similar to conditions in ICE holding cells.

We’re playing an audio story of our client recounting her time held in one & projecting the translation of the audio.
We’ve created sculptures of children because thousands have spent time in these hieleras.

In December, a 5-month-old toddler was hospitalized w/pneumonia after spending five days in a hielera.

Each child has a flower inside representing growth, dreams, & aspirations.

#Fact 1 - The Wage Gap is real. People who says it's not haven't read the data.

However, in places like the USA, the wage gap is *not* mostly due to sexism like many #femnist #WomenInScience are claiming it is today. Disparate outcomes doesn't imply disparate treatment.
Women typically choose fields that are lower paying; even in the #STEM fields. To attribute that to sexism only or even mostly is a very dishonest way of deriving an answer for this complex disparity.
