Here are some of my thoughts - the thrust of it is that in the ongoing 'culture battle', Labour was well and truly taken to the cleaners.

If the Labour Party offered an appealing vision of a post-Brexit, social-democratic nation-state - a policy agenda which supported political decentralisation and a 'local' approach to economic regeneration - it could have done well.
Labour could have led on this by saying:
"We know you may be disappointed with leaving the EU result. But we will offer a post-Brexit Britain where investing in you will be our priority"
Pro-democracy, pro-youth.
Hardly ideal in the build-up to a UK General Election.
Momentum has established itself as a dominant force, and the party has been abused by organisations such as Novara Media and The Canary.
Labour is turning into a 'woke' social-activist 'movement'.
It is so obsessed with white privilege, it cannot even begin to feel any sense of care and affection towards underprivileged white people.
A huge problem when trying to cultivate support in seats like Bolsover and Bassetlaw.
Underprivileged predominantly-white communities are now viewed as an inconvenience. Their mere existence is bothersome, as it does not fit with the prevailing narratives of white privilege.
It promised to establish a 'Race Equality Unit' within the Treasury to review the impact of spending commitments on "BAME communities", as well as an "Emancipation Educational Trust".
This really was peak racial identity politics.
And on key 'cultural' issues - immigration, crime, terrorism - Labour are losing in terms of public trust.
And it is important to note that such views are not exclusively held by white people. Not at all.
Good number of voters do have anxieties over under-funded public services and the erosion of workers rights.
They may also want a points-based immigration system and tougher sentences for criminals/convicted terrorists.
Many people are thankful to be British - this country is their home. There is a real sense of belonging.
If Labour sneer at such attitudes and are not trusted to keep the country safe, it's done for.
She has spoken robustly on the negative economic impact of free-market globalism, as well as the problematic cultural effects of poorly-integrated communities.
A 'Red-Blue' politics.
