- The Brexit transition period isn't guaranteed yet (the EU still have to ratify the Withdrawal Agreement)
- We will have left the EU *before* the transition period (if any) starts
- The transition period doesn't mean zero change from now, only minimal disruption
- Our various Brexit extensions haven't cost anything "extra" because the membership fee payments reduce what we owe the EU.
- In theory, we could still ask for another Article 50 extension, just like the ones to April 2019, October 2019 and now January 2020.
