NOTE: I don't know the answer to this, so I'd ask any military experts to weigh in, but I wonder if the combination of it being called a "large" explosion and the alert system having time to warn Green Zone denizens means it was a long-range rocket not a shoulder-fired projectile
NOTE2: I also wonder why we're hearing about this from the Iraqi military. Is the Pentagon not giving updates on this under the circumstances (i.e., whether it normally would or not) or am I missing something and such a briefing or official release did occur?
