PS/ I don't know why I had to watch 50+ TV reports on this standoff before CNN finally revealed this. It appears the person behind this standoff is McConnell, as he's never given Democrats reason to trust him, and now even *less* with how he's handled this Organizing Resolution.
PS2/ There's no—I repeat *no*—basis for McConnell not sharing this Resolution *even as he's claiming it's identical to the Clinton Resolution*. Nor is there *any* reason every reporter—attn: @JakeSherman—shouldn't be pointing out that *this* is the silly holdup in *every* report.
@JakeSherman PS3/ I'm not saying Pelosi has to or doesn't have to, or should or shouldn't, hand over the articles if she sees the Resolution, I'm saying (1) Pelosi has made it clear she wants to see it and (2) If Mitch McConnell won't share it, that should be *the* story behind this standoff.
@JakeSherman PS4/ And *if* it turns out some Democrats *have* seen the Resolution—which isn't what CNN writes—every reporter on this beat should *then* explain to their viewers why McConnell can't vote on the Resolution *now* (he says he has the votes) and is instead "keeping it in a drawer."
