There is an interesting double-standard in criticizing officials' credibility. Two civilian officials claimed no missiles had shot down the Ukrainian airliner. Why? Because the IRGC withheld that information from the entire govt. In the US, we have officials who lie day in and
2/ day out, about things you can verify with your own eyes, and they are still booked on Sunday talk shows and cable news shows during the week. Have they had their credibility challenged? Iran admitted it shot down the plane.
