Doubt either Sanders or Warren wanted this flap tbh.
Doubt Sanders thinks a woman *shouldn't* be president, even if he recognizes women face an unfair disadvantage.

I certainly don't think Warren wants to have to waste her time first having to prove herself just b/c she's a woman—but she does. Has her whole life. Imagine it, guys.
I DO know a couple things:

1) I'm not spending time attacking either of the two most progressive candidates of my life on behalf of the other

2) Women STILL live in a world where "do you think a *woman* can win??" is still a question asked, which has to be so fucking tiring.
The idea that she wanted to spend a debate fielding the question is strange to me, as is the idea that Warren "started this."

She was born into it. She's lived it. It's been going on her whole life—as it has been for all women.

Centuries. Imagine it.
Anyway I don't think Warren hates Sanders and I don't think Sanders hates Warren, and I don't think either is opposed to a woman running, and I'm just not participating in the yelling, sorry.

But just think about that question, "can a WOMAN win?"

It was asked.

That's all.
Oh and if you tweet snakes at me, you're muted at best.

I'm not having that shit.
I would ask all to consider that MAYBE Warren would rather not have to address the question 'but can a woman win?' at all, but she does have to do so. That fact alone suggests she has less control over exactly how systemic sexism manifests in the campaign than some might assume.
And that really is all.
