Wait @mikebutcher, Facebook testimony was that (entirely flimsy) legal certification wasn’t until April 2017. I’ve been hammering this for several years. That correction, likely driven by FB, is entirely misleading. cc @riptari as she follows closely. techcrunch.com/2020/01/17/cam…

It’s important to note that same period Facebook including Sandberg and leadership was also reported to know of Russian activity on platform and mysteriously purging accounts. Highly suspect of Jan-April 2017 cover-up/clean-up at Facebook.
Same COO Sandberg who glossed over and misled on certification timing when Zuckerberg answered Congress and Sandberg answered @inafried at Code Media in 2018. @karaswisher
