This means Orders/Decree(s) of Courts of UAE can now be implemented & enforced in India as that of local courts in India. Will help in crackdown on Hawala, D Company & other money laundering via UAE based on Emirati Court Orders !
Generally foreign court orders & decrees have no evidentiary value before Indian Court and can not be enforced barring the ones which are notified so by the Government under Section 44 of CPC !
Just a clarification this protends to CPC as in Civil Cases so its about Assets & attachments not crime per se. But a crime can have civil proceeds as well so kinda mixed 😜
Like say UAE Court orders attachement of property, passes a decree then that Orders can be enforced in India and will now have evidentiary value before Indian Courts.
