2/ I analysed several batches of tweets. Most of these are from between 15th and 20th of October. I analysed the hashtags #Tulsi2020 and #TulsiGabbard. I also analysed #QueenOfWarmongers, which refers to Tulsi's tweet where she called Hilary Clinton the 'queen of warmongers'
3/ Here is a link to that tweet, which was retweeted 79k times. I removed duplicates from my main sample of accounts tweeting on "Tulsi 2020" and "Tulsi Gabbard". This left around 10,000 unique accounts producing in the region of around 20,000 tweets.

I find it genuinely puzzling how people taking advantage of immigration opportunities to move abroad has come to be equated with “dark days” or an apocalypse. There’s nothing apocalyptic about it. People will always move in response to perceived better opportunities. #thread
People are relocating in significant numbers to Canada & elsewhere from countries that are much more prosperous than Nigeria - China for eg. Let’s quit this apocalyptic outlook. People will always migrate in search of a better life, new opportunities, a 2nd passport, etc.
Nigerians have been emigrating since forever. A century ago we were flooding to Ghana, we built the railway system there, & dominated the mines. Since then we’ve flocked to the US, Ireland, UK, Australia,Canada, Angola, etc. Everywhere. Canada will not be the last.

Sadly, What Angela Merkel has is a medical condition called Benign Essential Tremor.

This explains the quite small, rapid shaking of both hands, forearms and even body trunk (if you look well enough).

So what is Benign Essential Tremor?
It’s a brain/nerve disorder that causes unplanned uncontrollable shaking motion of different parts and sides of the body.

It can affect hands, arms, head, voice, tongue and even the chin.

It is not a life threatening illness thankfully.
Essential Tremor only becomes an issue when the person has to do activities like eating, dressing or writing.

And if it gets very severe, then the Tremor may cause the person to be unable to care effectively for themselves.

This is the only time it’s regarded as a disability.
