USA Today reports on #Ohio's voter purges noting that:

1. The young were disproportionately purged: Nearly 1 out of 3 purged voters was age 25 to 34. usatoday.com/in-depth/news/…
2. Where a party preference could be determined based on the last partisan primary in which the voter cast a ballot, Democrats outnumbered Republicans almost 2 to 1. usatoday.com/in-depth/news/…
Our experts have been screaming that the big purge attacks young voters — i.e. Democrats. The excuse is that they’ve moved out of #Ohio. They haven’t. They are students and renters who moved to a new dorm or down the street. rollingstone.com/politics/polit…

I saw what happened to #Bernie in 2016. People were improperly registered, not registered. There were three quarters of a million ballots which were cast provisionally or on the wrong ballot, which were thrown out. gregpalast.com/stealing-calif… #BernieSanders #Bernie2020

Today let me tell you about some police chiefs & sheriffs with pasts that might disqualify other cops, but somehow they keep getting hired as the boss in US cities and counties. We know about them because of our wide sweep for police misconduct records. usatoday.com/in-depth/news/…
Chiefs hold a position of public trust that makes them the face of law enforcement and puts them in command of other officers. If they can outrun misconduct, experts say, imagine what can happen among the lower-ranking officers they employ.
The @USATODAY Network identified 32 people who became police chiefs or sheriffs despite a finding of serious misconduct, usually at another department. At least 8 were found guilty of a crime. And the records we are checking them against, while vast, is still wildly incomplete.

Today, we looked at the life of a social media lie. We mined social posts and other datasets to look at how rapidly the baseless claim that George Soros orchestrated the migrant caravan had spread from internet obscurity to the political mainstream.
