If I were paranoid I'd say that these sort of things are going to keep happening to areas that oppose Trump.

Destroy a place's history, and it's a lot easier to change/delegitimize/etc.

Oh, btw, it's only the repository for treaty documents relating to the 272 federally recognized tribes in Alaska, Washington, Oregon, and Idaho.

So I'm sure the decision to move the records to <checks notes> Southern California & Kansas City will have no negative repercussions.

And I'm sure splitting them up between two different areas FAR from the place that these records are, you know, ABOUT will have no negative effects on people's ability to locate and access the information in them.
