Another dubious claim: That this deal has "immense" support from world leaders. Says Boris "called," another remind that this White House expects 10 Downing Street to lick boots for all the weeks and months to come.
Anyway, the only context that matters to this announcement is that Trump is the subject of an ongoing impeachment trial in the Senate and Netanyahu, standing next to him, could do nothing as Israel's attorney general filed criminal indictments against him today.
CNN long ago cut away from the White House. Think that makes sense, given the cynicism of this whole enterprise.
Shorter Netanyahu: If the Palestinians agree to totally surrender and give up most of their core demands, we will graciously accept it.
