This was written in 1979, a year before I was born. LGBTQ+ immigrants were not permitted to receive visas and enter the United States until I was in the fifth grade, 11 years later.
Teaching three hours of this stuff in my next class, so I'll be ready to break something by ~9:30 PM Tuesday
