Bernie is crazy and delusional.

I'm just going to list the positions he is pushing.

I don't fear Bernie winning. He isn't a populist he is a socialist. They are not the same. If we enter into a major recession l, I'll start getting really concerned. However, running a socialist during a booming economic expansion is a fool's errand.
I also don't fear mini Mike's billions. He has no connection to the people. His billions are a two edge sword. Sure they give him power but they also insulate him from the people. That's fine in a imperial situation but not in a representative republic.
I also don't fear Biden. His mental facilities are going away faster than hunters money in a strip club. Biden is the symbol of everything that has been wrong with the country for the last 30 years.

It's been almost 24 hours and there are still no final results for the Nevada Democrat caucus. Once again the Common core party shows they can't do a simple vote count. Only 50% of the vote has been counted and of that 50% it's a LANDSLIDE for Bernie who has 46.6% of the vote.
The results so far

Old Communist guy. 46.6%
Creepy Joe 19.2%.
Buttman 15.4%
Pocahontas 10.4%
Salad Lady 4.5%.
Daddy Climatebucks 3.8%
Hot Chick 0.1%
In other words, once Pocahontas, Buttman, and Daddy Climatebucks drops out; Bernie will easily be able to get over 50% of the popular vote in the primaries. The Nevada results are a LANDSLIDE for Bernie and it's probably the reason why Dems are having problems counting the vote.

The 2020 Dem primary is going to be intense one way or the other. The stakes are too high for it not to be. Heading into 2019, we'll see lots of early maneuvering and skirmishes. That's fine, AS LONG AS THEY ARE NOT CHARACTER ATTACKS.

A character attack directly impugns the honesty, integrity, and/or ethics of a candidate. Examples: Candidate X is a liar. Candidate Y is immoral. An issue debate is perfectly acceptable, i.e. Candidate Z is wrong on health care, the economy, etc.

Neither #BernieSanders nor #BetoORourke have announced if they are running. Supporters of each should feel free to battle out the issues, BUT AVOID CHARACTER ATTACKS. We cannot afford to give needless ammunition to the GOP.

I mean, if Chuckles here wants to claim the Republicans now are the same as 1960, then surely he supports the policies in that year's Platform, like more unemployment insurance, increased pensions, raising the min wage, "equal pay for equal work regardless of sex"...
That platform also takes a section to endorse civil service reform and tighter conflict-of-interest laws, which Trump's Boy Charlie surely embraces in his veneration of all things 1960. I could go on, but someone would have to help Charlie with the big words.
Anyway, the platform is fairly liberal by Republican standards, though the usual caveats apply: rhetoric vs reality, etc. And they made a hard right turn in '64. It's actually pretty interesting to compare those 2 platforms. Here's 1960s, tho: presidency.ucsb.edu/documents/repu…
