It's thought to be higher in countries with large Muslim populations, due to traditional washing rituals in Islam (also Sikhism).
The stats are self-reported, and it's possible the Dutch figure is low because they are brutally honest.
A study of 79,000 patients has found Covid19 has a 2.3% death rate, @CIDRAP reports.
It is higher among older people: 14.8% among the over-80s, and 8% among those aged 70-79.
