Many of us have pointed out the problems: a) a cross-party consensus precludes debate and the proper democratic testing of ideas; b) MPs' unwillingness to hear criticism of climate policy; c) it hands power to international bureaucracies & well-funded campaign organisations.
That is to say that today's outcome was predicted, anticipated, warned about, criticised, and yet the people doing all that have been shoved out of public life, harassed, sacked and insulted at every turn.
