What is it about immigrants' voicing opinions that sets you off, people?
I get it that folks get defensive about their country, even the things they themselves criticize, when foreigners do it. But these are immigrants, people who are American by choice! Why aren't they entitled to join the discourse? Is it exclusively for the vaginal visa holders?
Do you seriously expect us to come here, build your railroads, fight your Civil Wars, make your pizzas, develop your theories of relativity, bomb your Cambodias and launch your Googles, all while being meekly quiet and leaving all the opinioning to you, the exalted birthrighters?

No, you are not entitled to my gratitude. You didn't welcome me here. We are both here because of what this nation is.
