Trump was downright sociopathic during his CDC visit. In addition to calling the tests that don’t yet exist “perfect like the phone call & transcript”😱, he went off on WA Gov Inslee, dealing w/ a deadly coronavirus outbreak. Trump called him a snake OMFG
🤔This why Trump called Inslee a “snake”?? After Parkland massacre the WA Governor told him arming classroom teachers was a stupid idea & suggested Trump lay off Twitter. Watch Trump’s body language. The fool’s held that grudge for 2 yrs. (clip v @joshtpm)
@joshtpm This 2018 clip of competent Inslee confronting incompetent Trump w/ his own stupidity about public safety after the Parkland gun massacre should've been a wake-up call. One of so many damn wake-up calls ignored. Now we're literally hoping we can survive to vote out the nightmare.

⚠️This bonkers DC Circuit Appeals Court opinion seems to have overruled Marbury v Madison, in refusing to adjudicate the "too political" dispute between Congress and Executive Branch over McGahn subpoena. Imperial presidency, people. It's nuts!
😱OK not overruled, but defied Marbury. Court won't enforce McGahn subpoena b/c it's political & means enforcing ALL subpoenas! Ct knows it's letting exec privilege be used to obstruct—"seriously & even unlawfully hinder the Committee’s efforts to probe presidential wrongdoing"🤯
😡GOP are such cons. They cheat, move goal posts, change rules, lie, play shell games. GOP literally argued Congress HAD to have courts decide on subpoenas. Now Court says, sorry, too political. Then guts Congress's power as an equal branch of govt w/ oversight authority. #Maddow

My parents, Bernie & Biden are the same age, same generation. My parents were (both died of #cancer, sadly) Socialists. For a while my father was a Communist. They were poor--very poor. Both went to college on scholarships & were Civil Rights workers. I admired them.

My maternal grandmother was my only grandparent to finish high school. The others all had to start working at 8th grade. My parents were dedicated to the Civil Rights Movement. We were stuffing envelopes as pre-schoolers. My parents never left to move to a white enclave.

I understand Bernie is an activist. But my parents, my family, were Civil Rights WORKERS. They never left the movement. They co-founded a Civil Rights group.Our church was all about the movement. Our family's friends were all about the movement. It was their life. Night & day.

🥇These members of the 115th Congress didn’t think about the political ramifications, their reputations or the timing; they just voted honorably not to table the measure to impeach a prez who is clearly not abiding by the law or representing our country the way it deserves to be.
🏆Most of these members of the 115th Congress are still in Congress, but some are Governors or in new positions. One member, Louise Slaughter D-NY, sadly died in 2018. More on her later.

I'm one of a few million Americans awake when we should be sleeping because of the pain of #cancer or some other chronic illness.

Adding to our sleeplessness is knowing #healthcare is under threat. We may not be able to afford it due to the #GOP's actions.

It's terrorizing.
My parents were Civil Rights workers. My father was a Freedom Rider. As a small child I was taught the legacy of #MLK.
I watched people invoking MLK on Monday. Not in defense of #votingrights or in outrage over how the #SCOTUS ruled on two pivotal cases on gerrymandering.

MLK wasn't being invoked for #votingrights but for Sarah Huckabee Sanders, who lies to America every day about policies that could very well kill me & others.

Policies that are hurting millions.

Policies that have kept me a citizen without equal rights in my own country.
