#COVID19_Survivor Here is my story. Please share yours.

Feb 9: symptoms developed
Feb 9-12: fever, copious viscous mucus, dry, ineffective, persistent cough.
Feb 22: self-quarantine ended to get food, back to self Q
Mar 3: still not 100% , heavy feeling in lungs, occ.cough.
Survived!
Supplies I needed:
2 boxes tissue
2 bottles nighttime cold/flu
cold air humidifier (ran for 5 days day and night)
prepared, frozen soup, ready to heat and eat
(very, very weak, no hunger, dragging around house)
I needed an inhaler but didn't have one. The coughing brought me to my knees 3x, unable to get enough oxygen in the inhale before the next cough. Dry, ineffective cough that doesn't budge the mucus covering your airways. I wished I had gone to Urgent Care at those moments.
I did not go to the hospital because my area was not testing for it, and if I had it, I didn't want to spread it at the hospital. Until the relentless coughing spells, I thought I could manage. There is no cure, so I didn't bother risking spread by trying to get tested.

I am from WA, they would not test anyone that did not have a direct connection to China travel. Everyone who had symptoms were denied testing and gov continued to claim only 1 case in WA, & only 2 days ago started limited testing of community, I was unable to, however. Shit-show
Please retweet and share info with everyone in your contacts. We as citizens have to protect ourselves and get informed- our government is not going to do it. Restrict travel, avoid crowds, wash hands, sterilize door knobs, light switches, prepare to be at home for 2 weeks.
Backs of chairs, anything that people touch, wipe down with antiviral cleaning agent. Wash hands immediately after coming home. Self-quarantine yourself with the first sign of congestion. Everyone take precaution in your house. They are all suspect and should limit travel.
Absolutely do not go to work if you feel it coming on. Symptoms: heavy congestion develops in chest, copious viscous mucus, then fever, body ache (I had stiff neck) for 2-4 days, dehydration, and a persistent, dry, ineffective cough that doesn't dislodge the thick mucus blocking.
I have had pneumonia in the past, and this felt very similar to that except the cough is relentless and ineffective. Once you start, you can't catch your breath. You think you are going to manage until the big cough hits you, then panic sets in bc you can't breathe.
This account is from March 3rd. I compiled my tweets to add to this thread. Community wide testing as of 3/6/20 is not occurring in King County WA despite the number of confirmed increasing. They have no idea how bad it is because they won't test ppl like me, not enough tests.
