The anti-German rhetoric from mainly older Leavers makes me so angry...
No one can deny that country has some totally hideous history, but this is far from the modern Federal Republic.
Germany has much to admire and emulate, something that would benefit Britain.

The most fundamental difference is a culture where Government more actively seeks to fulfil the social contract between the state and the people.
Germans have longer holidays
Pensions/benefits much higher
There is investment in sports facilities, spa, pools available to all

..not just for those who can afford private clubs.
They already have their HS2.
Germany has been generous to the world financially; the biggest funder of the EU, has taken in huge numbers of desperate people.
Never mind the fact that the country provides us and the world..3/x

..with lots of well made kit.
The cycle ways, the autobahns.
Germany has in foreign/military affairs tended to defer to UK/Fra, surely to Britain’s advantage.
But rest assured over time Germany will now fill that role.
The banks and automotive will be our leaving gift 4/x

This of course the reason why #Brexit is so obviously mad, we are moving from being Germany’s partner to her competitor while simultaneously gifting her our economic Crown Jewels.
There will inevitably be higher risk of disputes, ill feeling, which can be further manipulated. 5/x

It really is about time the Brits got the massive chip off their shoulders and recognised that working together is the only way to go. We have a climate to save and here the Germans have a good history as leaders in environmental development.

Germans will see #Brexit for the folly it so truely is.
They will recognise we have destabilised the power balance in Europe while the world faces climate and virus.
They know the crimes
It is inconceivable that Germans will have respect for the Brexit Taliban.
