CNN: The Spanish government announced on Saturday that the wife of Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez tested positive for the novel coronavirus, according to a government statement.
2/ “The tests carried out in the last hours in Moncloa [the prime minister’s residence] on the people closest to the prime minister have tested positive in the case of his wife, Doña Begoña Gómez....
3/“... Both Mrs. Gómez and the president are well, both remain in La Moncloa and follow the preventive measures established by the health authorities at all times,” the statement read.

Many of you already know this, but the spread of COVID19 in the US has been mirroring that of the spread in Italy, except we're about 10 days behind them.

CNN: Everyone residing in the township of Teaneck, New Jersey is being asked to self-quarantine due to COVID-19 concerns, Deputy Mayor Elie Y. Katz told CNN Saturday.
2/ "We are asking our residents to self-quarantine right now. It's not a requirement, but we are coming out with some very strict guidelines and taking precautions to make sure our residents are safe,” Katz said.
3/ The directive comes after the number of presumptive positive cases of COVID-19 more than doubled in Teaneck overnight, according to Katz.

Now that it appears #coronarvirus was engineered, it makes me wonder if the Chinese spy “tourist” who tried to get into Trumps’ Mar-A-Lago and was arrested by Secret Service. Was that a test to see if a virus-carrying Chinese assassin could penetrate the Trump compound?
Infecting a Secret Service agent while the virus is still in its incubation stage — where the host is nevertheless highly contagious — seems to be a perfect tool for an undetectable assassination.
China hates Trump and hates the fact they can’t buy him. Being forced to deal with him and being publicly bitch-slapped by Trump for their cheating, theft and tyranny has been humiliating. But killing him would start WWIII. But what if they could kill him ANONYMOUSLY?

Thread: Observations on the Spanish Civil War and the Current US Political Fracture(s)

1. The US fought a bloody civil war in the early 1860s; Spain fought one in the late 1930s. The reasons and results for each were much different.
2. One could argue that, while there is some residual animosity among American descendants about the aftermath of the Civil War – especially by some Southerners – there is ZERO threat of another North vs. South conflict in the US. That may not be the case between Left and Right.

Varadkar denies telling FG that Brexit has brought a United Ireland closer. “Talk about a United Ireland isn’t helpful because it gets mixed up with talks around Brexit and there is a concern among the Unionist community that the Irish govt has a hidden agenda.
