Starting off #DavesCarIDService today with some vintage beefcake for the ladies: Grandpa Adonis here is changing the spare tire on a 1931 Lincoln Model K sedan.
1931 Lincolns were among the first closed-body car styled without a windshield visor. The late year 1931 Fords were similar, but didn't have the super deluxe passenger side windshield wiper. By 1932 windshield visors had all but disappeared on US cars.
Example: 1. early 1931 Ford Model A, 2. late 1931 visorless slant windshield Ford Model A, 3. 1932 Ford Model B/18. All popular make US cars had visors in 1931, none of them in 1932.
FTR, here's a full pic of Grandpa Dreamboat's car in the original pic
I think I've ID'd this one before, but it's a cool car & photo: circa 1915 King 8 touring car. King was one of the first V8 US cars. The license plate is Iowa 1916-18, which had no year designation
More automotive beefcake for you gals: behold Clarke Gable with his famed 1935 Duesenberg SSJ roadster. It was the king-of-the-hill supercar of the time, and only 2 were made: one for Gable, and one for Gary Cooper
The SSJ was an extremely expensive car in 1935, probably $25k-$30k by the time all coachwork was completed. Both cars are still around , and Gary Cooper's SSJ sold for $22 million in 2018
No, I don't just make these up. Here is the dashboard of a 1950 Coronet, and a view showing tail light housing
1930-31 Ford Model A roadster, and a reminder that I need to get a pair of two-tone oxfords
1951 or 52 Chevy Styleline 2 door sedan
*please be advised I really don't have a special talent for this, I know at least 100 people who are far, far better at car IDs than me. They just have better things to do than tweet
Signs (shield grille, split bumper) point to 1934 Fiat 508 Balilla but grille script is odd; I expected to see "Balilla" but it seems to say "Fiat 508"? Fiat partnered with some non Italian makes like NSU and Simca for export market, maybe due to that
The amazingly styled 1950 Studebaker Starlight coupe; plates could be anywhere from 1951 to 55 California, which had replaceable year tag and "California" at bottom. I'd gues pic of this handsome couple is 1951-52
It's a very early (1907-1912) Ford Model T touring, and the fashion is certainly consistent with 1909. Also, plate on front appears to be leather with riveted numbers. Might be a county registration number rather than state of VA
All cars on the lot are Chevys; L-R, 1936, 1935, 1937, 1931. Car on street is 1936 Ford tudor.
The Kansas troopers drove a 1939 Pontiac, putting them at a major disadvantage in chasing down speeders in other makes of the time
For example, the Kansas troopers are not gonna catch this 1939 Ford Deluxe V8 convertible with their pokey Pontiac flat 6

A 1984-88 Zimmer Quicksilver, based on (believe it or not) a Pontiac Fiero, and semi-legendary as one of the most ridiculous and worst automobiles in history
