MA has at least 164 cases of coronavirus & @MassGovernor has canceled school, closed restaurants, & banned gatherings to slow its spread. These steps in MA & across the country are critical to stop the virus, but our economy will need support to weather this crisis.
A grassroots stimulus includes:

Federal stimulus money to giant corporations needs strings attached to ensure that the money goes to save jobs, not to investors or executive bonuses. And if giant corporations get loans, they should be required to put workers on corporate boards.
We can do better than 2008 with an economic recovery focused on the grassroots up, not Wall Street down. A $750 billion grassroots stimulus package will match the challenges that families & communities face & help ward off economic disaster.
