The @MoHFW_India's daily case count doesn't add up. Their numbers are delayed/jumbled up for some states. This MoHFW tweet says, at 6:30PM IST, 16th March, there are 114 cases which INCLUDE 10 discharged, 3 cured and 2 dead...
This 114 count can also be found on their website, IF you assume that the 13 cured/discharged and the 2 dead are INCLUDED in the Confirmed Cases (Indians/Foreigners).

In at least 3 states, the numbers don't match counts from other sources...

1st, Maharashtra: @DeccanHerald reports 37 at 12:55PM, 16th Mar. MoHFW says 32. Is MoHFW behind by a day? Not likely, because 4 cases were added today; yesterday's count was 33. Behind by more than a day? Perhaps...

2nd, in Karnataka, MoHFW counts a TOTAL of 6 cases, 5 active and 1 having passed away. However @EconomicTimes reported the 7th case in Karnataka on the 15th.

A mistake by Economic Times perhaps? However @PTI_News seems to have made the same mistake:

...at 6:57PM on 16th March, Deccan Herald reported Karnataka's 8th case. Maybe MoHFW hasn't received this report yet - the newspaper at least had it after MoHFW posted their tweet...

Either MoHFW is keeping confirmed cases and deaths separate, such that you have to add them to come up with actual case count, or is behind in its statistics, again by more than a day, distorting tallies by anyone who is counting cases by calendar day...
3rd, In Kerala, MoHFW says a TOTAL of 23 cases, 20 active & 3 discharged. However, @KeralaHealth's 16th March bulletin says 24 cases under treatment & 3 discharged (the 1st 3 positive cases in India). Here MoHFW data comes up short by 4...

Is MoHFW data behind by 1 day? Not for Kerala which on 16th March added 3 to their count from 15th March. So MoHFW data, if late by a day, should have indicated a total of 24...

These 3 examples alone add 1 (Karnataka, actually 2 if you count the 8th case), 4 (Kerala) and 5 (Maharashtra) to MoHFW's 114 count, pushing India's 16th March total to 124 or 125.
However, the count appears to be correct for Delhi (at least as of the 15th) - a total of 7 cases of which 1 passed away and 2 have been discharged.

...and for Telangana - a total of 3 cases reported and 1 of the 3 discharged. This assumes that none of the 10 described in this article as symptomatic have been confirmed as #SARSCoV2 cases today...

...and for Tamil Nadu which has reported only one case so far.

Virtually all countries report statistics for each calendar day. India's MoHFW website has 1 table with current count & even though it gives date/time of update, the data is delayed by at least 24 hours in some cases. There is also no historical record...
It'd be great if @MoHFW_INDIA posts data source details, how current the data itself is (rather than when the table was updated), why it might differ fm media/state health dept reports, & a table that can be easily added which provides daily new cases data going back to 30th Jan.
