I've seen a ton of people call folks ecofascists because they comment on that a river is clear. Not even saying that people are the problem or anything like that, literally just "hey, it's neat that the water is clearer now"

Like, due to the crisis people are indoors more, less travel is happening and the systems that usually pollute a lot have changed due to virus mitigation. Sometimes people just like seeing some good news out of all this shit.
