as of 14h00 PST on 26March'20, Pakistan currently has 1016 CONFIRMED cases of #coronavirus in the country, with 417 in Sindh, 323 in Punjab, 131 in Balochistan, 121 in KPK, 84 in GB, 25 in Islamabad and 1 in AJK - 8 lost their lives, 24 Recovered, Active cases at 1074. Cont
on 12March'20, PM @ImranKhanPTI chaired a meeting of the National Security Committee on #covid19, at that time Pakistan had 21 cases, until today's NCC meeting, Pakistan has 1106 cases - The number of cases have gone up sharply in the past 13 days by 1085 Cont.
Looking at the trajectory, out 1106, atleast 168 patients are that of local transmission - Since 12March till 25March'20, Pak has had an increase of 83 patients per day but this ALSO saw the increase in number of Local transmission cases Cont
Going by estimates, that One person is infecting another three, with the current number of increase in patients - just by STATS, the number of patients in Pakistan of #covid19 can see an even further rise, estimates of which would be Much higer. Cont
Hopefully, @zfrmrza @ImranKhanPTI and his team are looking into DATA and specially that of local transmission and act NOW to impose a health emergency in the country before we go towards an even bigger, unprecedented disaster courtesy #covid19 #coronavirus. #Pakistan
