Today I received a call to come represent one of them in court. And boy...The mammoth crowd in court... The entrance to the court cell was overflowing with body-gumming people... I tried to take shots but the police siezed my phone and later released it.

If the intention was to prevent Corona virus, then trust me, the mechanism to achieve that is inefficient. Even in the small court room we were all clustered. The Government and Police should actually be in court for trial (endangering the lives of citizens)

The lawyer shared the court documents. They are back in court this morning. Reports have it that those a nursing mother is among those arrested by the Rivers State Government and @PoliceNG. A friend to the woman says she wasn’t on any of the ‘curfewed’ roads. @PoliceNG_CRU

MY ORDEAL AT THE HANDS OF SARS MEN

Yesterday, I was driving in my area and saw SARS officers beating up a boy who lives in the area. His mum fries Akara for a living and I knew immediately that they wouldn't be able to 'settle' the officers. He kept shouting "what have I done",
while they tried to force him into their bus. They were beating the hell out of him and don't know if he would have survived. I made to go plead with them but at a point hesitated and chose to take a shot of the bus and numberplate.

I was given the beating of my life right on
the road. They started by smashing my knees repeatedly with wooden bars. As I type this, my left knee is swollen and my right knee seriously bruised. I have pains on my head, neck and back.

I was handcuffed like a common criminal and shots were fired to disperse a small crowd

@DrJoeAbah @osaeB, almost everything federally controlled in NG is suffering. Federal Unity Colleges, Federal Universities, Federal Roads, Federal Police, Federal Hospitals, national refineries, national theater, national stadium, national seaports.... State-owned institutions &
facilities are faring better. Imagine if the national theater was handed over to Lagos State, National Stadium to the FCT, National Refineries and Seaports privatized, maybe a case for State Police. This country is too big for FG to handle alone. And it's suffering due to that.
Restructuring, is more of an economic and development issue than it is political. At this point, it shouldn't be a question of if but when and how. For Nigeria, it's now Restructure or Collapse, and that collapse won't be far off.

In the light of the new #coronavirus cases in #Osun, let's very briefly talk about #Nigeria's (or Africa's borders). It was sometime last year that I found that probably the 4th largest concentration of Ogbomoso indigenes after Ogbomoso itself, Ibadan and Kano, is in Abidjan.
Basically, this Nigerian community has links with that part of #IvoryCoast because of trade routes that predate the British and the French, and apparently, those trade routes are still in use, which is how people made it through #Nigeria's ostensibly closed borders.
Internet service provider went down, so the thread will continue shortly.

I've seen replies that saying Ogbomoso people are also strong in #Jos and #Ghana, but for the purposes of this, I'll stick with what Mr Akin Akinbola, a much older man from Ogbomoso, told me in Paris.

Coronavirus epidemy in Iran has past the crisis level. The country is imploding - law and order to disappear in the next days. A number of officials already died and mass infection among hospital staff and police forces reported.
#irancorona all of this, why?

The regime hid the initial cases since:
1) it was just before election and needed high turnout
2) due to political need, did not stop flights to china
3) source seems to becleric students from china arrived in Qom
4) did not close religious shrines
5) instead of providing information on the gravity of the risks to the public, played down and resorted to the same tactic of rhetoric “we will fight and beat it”

Now it has spread everywhere. The world now has an example on what failure to contain the virus can do.
