A little collaboration piece on #covid19 #coronavirus made by @GNaamati, @AstridGAGall and myself, while we are #WorkingFromHome #EMBLatHome

A Tale of One Virus
(inspired by Charles Dickens' "A Tale of Two Cities")
It was the worst of times
It was the best of times
It was the time of fear
It was the time of hope
It was the time of selfishness
It was the time of kindness
It was the time of constant snacking
It was the time of healthy eating
It was the time of loneliness
It was the time of companionship
It was the time of separation
It was the time of togetherness
It was the time of great expenses
It was the time of great savings
It was the time of vast uncertainty
It was the time of many experts
We had everything before us
We had nothing before us
We were all going a bit insane
We were all finally stopping to take a breath
In short, the period was so different than any other period most of us have known in our lifetimes, and even the noisiest authorities agreed that this was a time of great change, for good... or for evil...
... as well as an extraordinary time for memes
