I'll say this again.

BUSINESSES DON'T HAVE A RIGHT TO EXIST. THEY MUST MAKE A CLEAR, COHERENT CASE FOR YOUR MONEY.

1. Napkins - Well, what did you think would happen when you premiumised paper towels? You made another category of product obsolete.
2. Hooters. Who could ever lament the decline of Hooters? Millennials enjoying less sexist restaurant experiences is a GOOD THING.
3. Cereal: a relatively recent invention designed to make money out of agricultural waste. The gravy train would always halt one day.
4. Golf: the law of cool dictates that your parents' favoured passtimes are toxic. Golf may have another day, but not this generation
5. Motorcycles. Everyone who still thinks motorbikes are cool (apart from Lady Gaga) are drawing their pensions.
6. Home ownership

I don't think I've ever read such a stupid take on this. Millennials can't afford this overpriced asset class.
7. Low fat yogurt. Well, if you encourage a generation to take an active interest in nutrition this will happen. Maybe the boom was a blip.
8. Diamonds. A diamond is forever isn't a tradition, it was a marketing campaign. By De Beers.
9. Fabric softener.

If your consumers don't know what your product does, you have a problem. And it's not their problem, it's yours.
10. Department stores

Oh hai millennial, do you want to visit a shit version of the internet, or use the internet?

11. DIY stores.

THEY CAN'T AFFORD TO BUY HOUSES, YOU IDIOTS. THIS IS GOING TO HAVE A KNOCK-ON EFFECT ON DEMAND FOR WALL-PLUGS.
12. Oil.

Look, it's a straight-up choice between oil or still having a planet to live on in your old age. This is a false opposition.
In conclusion...

If your consumers do not like your product anymore you have to change your product.

CHANGE. HAPPENS.
