(2/n) In my experience, many natural/"hard" scientists almost completely unaware of the theory & empirical work on #communiction or #scicomm
(3/n) For me, the @story_collider approach is a chance to explore #scicomm w/full force of our intellects AND the wholeness of our humanity
(4/5) It's not "data OR stories" - good evidence is for paired narrative & stats, e.g. But best science says #stories are powerful.
(5/5) So the real question to ourselves is how to be most effective AND ethical in all our storytelling & #scicomm. Lifetimes of work ahead
