3) In the meantime, as @TessHottenroth is showing in tweets, banks are running out of money and being burnt, protests are continuing, strikes in mining and energy industries (state run) are continuing.

5) Trump gave his ultimatum; he was not going to recertify the Iran deal again. Some view this as a shot clock for the regime. Me? I see it as giving the Iranian people more time to force regime change on their own.
6) I was predicting bank sanctions, yes. If the Iran deal was decertified, Iran's banks would fall prey to sanctions again, probably annihilating them.
7) This would rob the Iranian people of their victory, allowing the bank collapses to be blamed on the US rather than corruption leaving them broke.
8) Bank runs, contagion, outright bank collapses, in the days before the internet and social media such things would take mere weeks to play out anyways. 90 days is more than enough time for word to spread in spite of the controls on Iran's internet and social media.
9) With regime industries suffering strikes nationwide, crippling domestic oil and mineral production and soon energy sectors causing Iran to suffer blackouts (causing people to have to draw even more cash from the banks) we may very well see regime collapse in a few months.
10) You tell me, what looks better; the Iranian people forcing the mullahs out of power peacefully on their own and the United States sending them aid afterwards, or an economic collapse which can be blamed on the United States? /end
