1. Thank You Non-Californians
On Nov 8, 2016, America dodged a bullet, when 49 states collectively more than adequately outweighed Hillary's 4 million vote advantage in California, and in all the right places. Well done non-Californians.
2. Needless to say, other than the obvious fact that Trump won the electoral college vote handily, it is heartening to see that Trump also won the popular vote in 49 non-California states combined.
3. To see the importance of this momentous election, let us review what the fate of America could have been in 4-8 years, had the election gone the other way.
4. It is not too unreasonable to assume that a Hillary admin would have done to America what a prolonged Democratic governance has done to California.

Using a great compilation of facts by Michael Walsh in PJ Media, here are some of the gory details.
5. Guess which state has the highest poverty rate in the country? Not Mississippi, New Mexico, or West Virginia, but California, where nearly one out of five residents is poor.
6. Isn't that puzzling, considering California's per-capita GDP increased approximately twice as much as the U.S. average over the five years ending in 2016 (12.5%, compared with 6.27%)? Job growth was also robust.
7. Also, it’s not as though California policymakers have neglected to wage war on poverty. California has spent massive amounts in the cause. California state and local governments spent nearly $958 billion from 1992 through 2015 on public welfare programs.
8. California, with 12% of the American population, is home today to about 33% of the nation’s welfare recipients.

The generous spending, then, has not only failed to decrease poverty; it actually seems to have made it worse.
9. The progressives who control every aspect of the California's government are not necessarily stupid people, but they are malign.
10. They understand that increasing welfare spending only encourages the arrival of more recipients on whom to spend it, and the high likelihood that those new constituents will vote Democrat as soon as they are able, legally or otherwise.
11. Already, some 55 percent of "immigrants" receive means-tested benefits, while only 30 percent of native Californians do so.
12. California's army of bureaucrats contributes as well, as does the state's highly restrictive land-use ordinances and environmental restrictions, which drive up the cost of housing in what is already the nation's most expensive real-estate market.
13. With 883,000 full-time-equivalent state and local employees in 2014, California has an enormous bureaucracy. Many work in social services, and many would lose their jobs if the typical welfare client were to move off the welfare rolls.
14. Don't assume California's policy makers are stupid. Far from it. They know exactly what they are doing. Their policies are having exactly the effect they are designed to have.
15. Generous welfare "benefits" mean an endless supply of new Democrats and permanent employment for the public-employee unions who actually run the state.
16. It's a perfect racket, and one that will continue until the California Republicans get their act together and begin vigorously contesting what is a one-party state designed to enrich those at the top, beggar the middle class, and keep those on the bottom in permanent penury.
17. That in a nutshell is the Blue Governance Model, which despite the soothing rhetoric about caring for the little guy actually does only 3 things:
a) Enrich the ruling and politically connected elites
b) Beggar the middle class
c) Keep the poor permanently dependent on govt
18. None of it is accidental. All of it is by design. California may be the most glaring example of the failure of the Blue Governance Model, but the same phenomenon plays out the same way in every blue state with entrenched Democratic governance. Pick any to look at.
19. And make no mistake. That is the Blue Governance Model that a Hillary administration would have foisted on all of America. Obama had already started down that road. Hillary was supposed to accelerate it. Trump, with voters' help, foiled the plan.
20. Now you know why liberals are so hopping mad at Trump. But if you really think about it, liberal hatred for Trump is only superficially directed at Trump. What liberals really, really hate are the voters who elected him.
21. Thank you everyone who is no longer fooled by MSM and Democratic rhetoric. The more Trump is successful in making America prosperous, the more extreme their rhetoric and attempts at taking him down will become.
22. By all means we have to, and we must, hold Trump accountable for what he does, but pay no mind to what Media and Democrats try to paint him as who he is.
23. Like everyone else, Trump is a flawed individual, but so long as he continues to do good for America, and upholds the Rule of Law and the Constitution, his opponents' malicious attempts to take him down deserve nothing but the middle finger.

The END
Allow me to apologize to all the Californians who may have felt slighted by the sweep of this thread thanking non-Californians. I used it merely as a rhetorical device to make a substantive point about the Blue Governance Model.
I know in my heart and soul that there are millions of Californians, and many of my dear friends among them, who do not buy into the Blue Governance Model, and are actually frustrated by it every bit as much as the rest of us.
If you want to know how Hillary got 4 million more votes in California than Trump, this is how. Blue Governance Model is what it takes to turn a paradise into a festering cesspool of institutionalized corruption. Behold the assembly line for blue votes.
LA Times Headline today: "L.A.'s homelessness surged 75% in six years."
If you think L.A. Times is clueless about the politics of those in charge of the city which aids and abets such a travesty, you would be wrong. They lay it out very clearly.
LA Times also informs us that over the last 16 months voters "have agreed to tax themselves $4.6 Billion" to make a dent in the problem.
To reiterate, Blue Governance Model is optimized for blood-sucking middle class dry to enrich the politically connected at the top, to subsidize dependents at the bottom rungs of society, and to add more govt employees, who will reliably vote for the politicos in power.
What the Blue Governance Model has no interest in is finding out where these homeless are originating from. What do you think happens when you declare the whole state as a sanctuary state? And why do you think they do that? Ignorance? Not a chance! Lust for power explains it all.
California has worst 'quality of life' in US, according to a study conducted by US News.

Even Silicon Valley is sick of California state of mind. Leftists eventually destroy everything, no exceptions.
