2) @ThomasWictor once did a thread describing Trump as the destroyer-transformer. He breaks things in order to build it anew, stronger and taller than before, ever increasing his own power in the process.
3) Step 1: in the primaries, he broke the GOP's base, and built it anew to win the nomination, breaking the RNC in the process.
4) Next, he broke the Democrats' base, the midwest rust belt, the blue wall, and turned it to his purposes, securing himself the election.
5) Then, he broke the GOP. This fracturing and rebuilding took awhile. He had to clear out part of the GOP from his cabinet. Then he had to break the GOP senate, first by letting them fail utterly on ACA repeal, then helping them navigate tax reform.
6) His latest move? He has broken the Senate Democrats, at least half of them. How has he broken them, though? That's the fun part.
7) This tweet right here is the realest fucking tweet he's ever made. The socialists and neoliberals of the far left have held the moderate and small business Democrats hostage for years, ever since Obama took office.
8) How they've done this is... Disgusting, to say the least. Effectively, they've robbed Democrats at the national and local level of support, candidates, and funding. This has all been either coopted by the far left or thrown into PACs, super and itherwise.
9) Moderates/small business Dems have to stick to the Dem voting block no matter how far left it goes or else they lose their political funding and probably get primaried by some biracial anteatersexual semi-person socialist.
10) Look at the special elections, the money that poured into the Dems from outside those states. Its a simple racket. "Want a $10 million warchest? Vote as a socialist in office."
11) Now, though, look at what just happened. @ChadPergram, who reports from DC and uses Twitter to relay info, was saying the consensus was that it would be tough to reach 60 votes for cloture. Suddenly it was 81 for, 18 against. A blowout.
12) The holdouts? A who's who of neoliberal and socialists. Kamallama Harris, Corey Baby Tantrum Booker, Pochahantas, Sneaky Feinstein, Whiny Wyden, Blowmenthol, Sanders.
13) The moderates and small business Democrats broke ranks in mass and voted to end the shutdown. And now the leftists are screaming for their heads.
14) When you want to defeat a surrounded opponent, give him a route of escape. Moderate Dems in the Senate now have a hostile primary season ahead of them with little to no funding, and they're the minority party.
15) Guess who Trump just broke and transformed into an ally? Moderate Senate Dems. Next on the agenda is going to be infrastructure. Every swing state Dem is going to want a project for home. Those victories are going to be the only way to survive 2018 for them.
6) Who needs sweeping wins in 2018 when you can get half of the opponent's party to work with you anyways? What'll happen when the far left loses all of its authority, leverage, and power? It will die out. Moderate Dems may even flip to the GOP officially.
17) Want an actual prediction? Internet infrastructure is going to factor into an infrastructure bill. Google is going to be the go-to company for this. Google will destroy its sjw corporate culture to get a piece of the infrastructure bill.
