I'm an extremely bad reader (and was a KS backer for NRxaB) but I'll see what I can do...

The obvious starting point: stupidity. Both bitcoin and the alt-right (and there's overlap through the libertarian nexus) are full of idiots falling for one another's grifts.
But that's a bit too general and a bit too smugly complacent to let lie. So we can move on to idealism as a point of similarity. Moldbug hated Marx but Marx haunted his work, and the same theme comes up in the Austrians essay - a bizarre cloud-castle built to rampart out commies.
The bitcoin version of this is well put by this thread I enjoyed:
(and again, bitcoin is rife with libertarianism, so this is no surprise). But this leads us on to a third point of similarity: the basilisk. The funniest thing about bitcoin (and that's a tough competition) is probably the way it recreates the institutions it flees from.
as you had in your book, it decentralises then immediately recentralises but badly, or words to that effect
this reaching its ultimate and absolutely hilarious form in tether, a central bank issuing fiat money to prop up the economy. The bitcoin project was set up to defeat a monster of unfreedom, and it turns out to create the same thing, but worse. That's basilisky.
As for differences... NRxaB is a labyrinth of ideas about the failure of its subjects on the level of ideas. Aot50'BC by contrast is a book about a concrete project, which revels in concrete failures. They could be called good companions in that sense.
addendum: the most direct comparator to bitcoin in NRxaB is probably Yarvin's Urbit - even to the extent the creator is a gifted programmer, the result is a mess that solves problems nobody has save that they convince themselves so
