3) Trump and the GOP do not control the Senate right now. They just do not. Controlling the Senate in this political landscape requires a solid 60+ seats. Bright side, there's no way the Democrats will get effective control of the Senate, but for now the GOP doesn't.
4) Remember the core tenet of Strategery. Its NOT about winning or losing. Its about making your opponent lose.
5) What has been the GOP's major failure for all these decades on gun control? They're defending. They resist all gun control, and then lose when the Democrats get any kind of gun control passed.
6) The strategy of defending means you're winning until you lose. Your opponent just has to win. Its stupid. The GOP and the NRA has been stupid in the past on gun control.
7) So, what is the Strategerific objective that Trump, the NRA, and the GOP are doing now? Destroying the Democrats position on gun control. Destroy their credibility in the debate.
8) Harken back to my explanations of Trump's use of Batman Gambits. Know your opponent, know their reaction, then set a trap based on their reaction.
9) What has been the Democrats answer on immigration and DACA? REJECT ANYTHING TRUMP OFFERS OR WANTS. As a result they rejected a DACA amnesty 3x the size they asked for.
10) Not seeing too much of Pelosi standing for 10 hours now are you? And oh look, less than a month to go until DACA ends.
11) So, Trump is now offering up a ban on bump stocks (which are fucking worthless btw, jesus christ you're better off peeing on a home invader than the spray and pray of those. Fun, but shit for accuracy) and an offer on extended background checks and the like.
12) What are Democrats who have been trotting out kids and wailing endlessly going to do?
13) Trump's offer won't get past the Senate, because the GOP doesn't control the Senate. The Dems won't put anything through the Senate that will pass. Like DACA, NOTHING WILL HAPPEN.
14) Trump, the GOP, and the NRA won't defend the second amendment. They're simply going to destroy the Democrats' ability to attack it. "Well, we tried, but they all voted against it."
