Here is everything I can find out (part 5):
Damn right there's a thread 5. I'm not wasting any time. There's a lot for me to cover, so much that I probably would need about 6 more threads to go into detail about everything, so I'll just link to this reddit megathread: reddit.com/r/Solving41818…
This thread is specifically for every new piece of information that I come across. This is when I really need everyone's help. There's 319 followers to my account right now, and I'm asking one thing from all of you.
DM me, tag me, do whatever you have to do to get my attention to every single piece of the puzzle that is uncovered, no matter how insignificant it seems. This has to be a group effort, not a single-person thing.
The first video posted to d6a7c7617be97c1’s account was decoded by Dragon_01000011 on Discord. He downloaded the sound file, which came up with an image. Note to my Discord mates: If you lot end up seeing this and want it removed, DM me and I'll take it down.
When MINDFUZZ reverse image searched it, this website came up: voatiengviet.com/a/trong-tranh-…
Dragon also pulled this up from the same sound file, but couldn’t download the image.
A set of coordinates - 16.837439, 112.335583 - was also found.
There seems to be a group of smaller islands surrounding the coordinates given.
This is the Google Maps image. Here is the link: google.com/maps/place/Sou…
There's what looks like a regular airport, with hangars, and a military chopper. The whole island appears to be a military outpost.
The island in question is apparently named Rocky Island. A signal intelligence station was built there in 1995. This sounded regular enough to me until I Googled the meaning.
According to Wikipedia: "Signals intelligence (SIGINT) is intelligence-gathering by interception of signals, whether communications between people (communications intelligence—abbreviated to COMINT)."
The Discord chat I had been in had found and discussed the meaning well before I joined, and I agree with them that there is something about this island that isn't normal. Also note how some of the satellite images seem cut out and stitched together, or generally tampered with.
You can see here some strange structures on the island's satellite map. In relation, there was a link in the Discord to a Quora post asking about the nature of the island's construction, which had some interesting information in it. You can find it here: quora.com/Whats-the-natu…
There's also this, a random structure of sorts, which seems very bizarre and out of place in its surroundings; and the way the screen went completely black when one of the users on my Discord, Mg, tried to zoom in even further.
Also worth taking a look at these "blips" in what seems like the middle of the water. google.com/maps/place/Sou…
The water itself, as seen from the satellite image, also seems off in a way. The whole map seems that way to me, anyways.
There's also a Woody Island. No idea what to make of this, honestly.
Then there's this place called Mischief Reef (qz.com/863811/mischie…). What I find strangest is that the second image seems to show a sports stadium and some courts, but why would they need an entire stadium to hold the population of what's supposed to be a small base?
More images from Mischief Reef.
Again, the credit goes to my Discord chat. I don't know all of your twitter usernames so I can properly tag you, but all of the screenshots and satellite images I've posted in this thread came from you lot and the research you did. Thanks a thousand times over.
Someone might have already pointed this out somewhere, but the name "Hijj" when it's turned upside down resembles the letters "MH", presumably as in the abbreviation of Malaysian Airlines. Makes more sense to me, since I've never heard of "Hijj" used as an actual name.
So /u/TampaTrampin just posted this to /r/solving41818 five minutes ago. Apparently another user, /u/PLDSVRLRD, sent the coordinates 41.4099 N, 122.1949 W, to /u/Arszilla. They lead to Mount Shasta in California.
PLDSVRLRD also sent another set of coordinates, this time 14.7390 S, 75.1300 W, which lead to the Lineas de Nazca (Nazca Lines) in Peru.
Both locations have a lot of conspiracy theories dedicated to them. Mt Shasta is rumoured to host the ancient civilization of Lemuria inside of it. As for the Nazca Lines, while they are odd on their own, they are speculated to have been made by or to attract aliens.
While reading the Wikipedia page for the legends of Mt Shasta, I came across an excerpt worth noting.
Of course, the whole account could be a hoax, as is applicable to most parts of this whole disaster that is 41818, but I thought it was interesting enough to be worth adding to the thread in case anyone wanted to look deeper into that.
I'm having a really hard time figuring out a cipher that employs this kind of gibberish. If anyone wants to have a go at this account, here it is: mobile.twitter.com/c2F0b3Jp
Once again I'm asking everyone who's viewing this to retweet for visibility. Like I already said, we need as many people as possible to help figure this out.
@jonawadecx just pointed out to me how, when viewing one of my links (), the satellite image comes out choppy. I tried it on my own computer and had the same thing happen to me. The rest of the map, such as the Vietnamese and Chinese coasts, are untouched.
I'm currently making thread 6 as this one has got too crowded in a short period of time.
