Today’s fempowered woman has a preconception of being an “Alpha” female that is based on the male paradigm of what makes him Alpha. IOW, if the dominant, masculine qualities that set a man apart are recognized as Alpha, then it must therefore be so for a woman.
The common misperception is the archetypal tough, business woman CEO who can dish it out (whatever that means) like the big boys, call the shots and basically do better in the corporate world than any of her male contemporaries.
If you read my post Timeline of the Professional Woman you’ll get the idea.

The problem with this misconception is that women buy into the lie of blank-slate equalism, in that they presume that what makes a man an elite example should necessarily make a woman one too.
This is also one more example of masculinity being reserved for women, while men are expected to “get in touch with their feminine sides”. Women expect that their professional status should necessarily be what makes them attractive.
Thus, they develop a misguided sense of what men should think is “alpha” and what they self-identify with. In a gender-specific context this is false because what makes a man Alpha is specific to men. As I mentioned before an Alpha female is an apex specimen of her own sex.
Men and women are different and what makes either an ‘Alpha’ example is characteristic of those differences. Thus, the hot swimsuit model HB10 is an example of an Alpha female who can command the attention of men and outclasses her competition in SMV.
