From a theological point of view, there's a reason God made man both male and female. There's a reason the x and y chromosomes interact to produce different genders. There's a reason the Church is referred to as a woman. #Thread
There's also a reason why in the body of Christ, there is neither Jew nor Greek, Male nor Female etc. Our primary identity should be grounded in Christ.
I think if we truly focus on LOVE, a lot of the gender competition will be rendered moot. Rarely do people feel threatened by love unless there's emotional damage, in which case, you need both love and therapy.
There's a reason why Apostle Paul asked both genders to submit first to one another, before he spelt out responsibilities for each gender and even children and domestic staff. Without a foundation of love and mutual submission, there will be no headway in human relationships.
Without preferring one another in love, there will always be a jostle for pre-eminence.
I think the world needs healing and maybe women need healing even more. A lot of the gender pushback is coming from a place of deep pain, abuse, neglect and terror. A lot of women have taken on the mindset of "We played by the "rules" and got burnt, now we are making our own".
They are like captives who are forging their own freedom. Until that anger is fully spent, we won't really see what society has now become.
As women are the primary caregivers for children, we won't see how the children turn out. As men derive much of their value and relevance from work and providing for families - as those roles become redefined, they won't realise just how much they are at risk of losing.
In the Gender Wars, everyone loses.
